What a wonderful lazy afternoon,

Although the sunshine is not so bright

the sky is not so blue

If you are human,

you will change

cause you are human being..........

The story talks about a mother sent her child into the garden in order to protect her lovely child harmed from the war.  Unfortunately, her mother thought it would not be a long time to see her child again.  Who knows, they met each other again about thirty years later.  However, the child only left three days.  What a terrible thing!  I had ever read such stores before and I think it is quite interesting.  One day in this place may be ten years in another place.  It is somewhat like an adventure story because the child walked through the forest.  The child is so brave that she can pass the dark forest.  She is also a nice girl who will listen to the old man’s command, preparing the food to him and without any complain.  

After I read the story, one thing appeared to my mind.  That is, I should take more care about the time being together with my family or friends.  We will never know when the last day to see my dearest family and friends is.  Life is cruel, just like the reality.  I am happy that in the end that the child and the mother met each other in the end.  Her mother waited her for thirty years, if she did not see her child again.  Her heart will fill with regrets.  Therefore, enjoy what you have now and always with a grateful heart.        

Oh ~~ How a touching story!!  Poor little Trisha!  The children who teased her are so annoyed.  Why could they do that!!  Fortunately, Mr. Falker is really a nice teacher I have ever seen.  He was so patient to teach Trisha.  In fact, such the students like Trisha all need people to take more care of them.  Teachers should not blame them; they did not really want to cause the problems to others.  They need time to practice, if a teacher just did not give them any chance to change and they did will not change.  Instead, the student will become worse and worse day by day.   The teacher should encourage the students. 

 When I was at the elementary school, some of my classmates have some problems to their homework.  My teacher will teach and explain the content many many times until almost all of them understand.  If the teacher tried many times, but the students just can not figure out, the teacher and students should not look them down.  Some students just can not study very well even they tried very hard.  But, at least, he tried to help himself.  If you think you are good enough, how about going to help your classmates to their study, not just laugh others and did not do anything meaningful.

Trisha is so lucky to meet such a nice teacher!!  If she did not meet Mr. Falker, it is really sad to her.           

A boy whose name is Jacques met a painter who is called Vincent and later they become good friends one day.  Every child in the town is afraid of the strange guy.  For the reasons that he always talks to himself and has a red-brown beard which looks queer.  However, Jacques has different opinion.  He saw Vincent gave food to dogs and petted the cat so that he thought Vincent is a nice guy.  Then Vincent did a nice person!!  They get along very well then.  Nevertheless, they still have different views to money.  Jacques thought Vincent should sale his paintings and get the money for a better life.  Vincent did not answer to the Jacques, but I guess money is not so important to him, he thought it is good enough that he can do his favorite things---painting.  

As for me, I think artists all have a kind heart.  As many people say, “Art will not worse a person’s heart!”  We can also tell it from the pictures the artist paint.  Take Vincent’s drawing for example, he used a lot of passionate color like red, yellow and orange.  Thus, Vincent must be a passionate man. 

“Does the sunflower think of money as it blossoms so beautifully against the summer sky?  Does the violinist think of money when he plays music so lovely that it makes us weep?  Does the storyteller think of money when she tells stories that fill us with joy, or hope, or sadness?”   I love these sentences so much, especially the first one.  I never thought of this before.  Yeah, the sunflowers are so beautiful.  But their beautiful is not for earning money.  It is interesting thought!!  

    
This is a story that is just familiar to me; I mean the feeling of telling the pass time to someone who lives in nowadays.  Although the one is not my grandpa, neither my grandma, it would still be interesting and exciting for children to listen the story that happened in the years before they were born.  My father and mother always tell us that “you should be grateful to what you have now, because in the pass time, there were nothing interesting but working hard to get a better life!”  It is good to hear the old telling their experiences, maybe their experiences were not always true; however, these would be good advice for us in our life. 

 

I like the story’s colors.  The story uses variety of colors and the colors all make me feel warm, just like the grandparents love their child.  It is a kind of happiness.  I also like the way they described the dance and song man.  The words and sentences are vivid, just like the images that we have to them.  For example, “he tucks small, white pads inside the shoes so his corns won’t rub, and he turns on the lamp’s and aims each one down like a spotlight.”  The sentences describe the preparation for the show.  I can almost see how he prepared the stuff in front of me.  This is one of the reasons that I love the book.   

This is the first book I rented, and I like it so much.  It tells about some events happened to a duckling family.  At first, the duck couples are going to find a place for their little ducklings which were going to born.  They tried many places.  Finally, they found a suitable place which is silent, safe and peaceful for their new life.  Then after their lovely duckling are born.  One day, the mother took them to a walk, not only the place they lived but the city near them.  Some interesting things happened.  The police man came out to guide the traffic so that the ducks can pass the road easily.  It is amazing!!  In the story, the human beings care about the animals.  They waited patiently until all the ducks passed.  However, some people at the story are shocked because there were ducks walking on the street.  Nevertheless, they still followed the police man and helped the ducks.  In reality, such things will not really happen.  

The author must want to tell us to care the animals much more.  If someone is going to pass the road, he or she or it are much important than the car no matter who he is.  It is without any doubt that the cars should stop for waiting the passengers.  I also like the author portray the story in a simple way so that I can know it is the ducklings’ language.  It makes me like it much more.

This time, I did really feel nervous because Fanny's dream is a story that needs deep thoughts; it is a little serious for the students.   We are afraid the children will ignore us.   However, things just do not go as worse as we think.   They tried to answer the questions.  If they have any confusion to give us response, we will help them, asking them some related questions which is easy for them to answer.   
     There is a problem for me.  We always did not organize our time well, so when it is time for me to tell the rest part of the story.   I speak to quickly.   I can tell the children understand what I mean by their facial expression, but I still should slow down my speed.  Actually, I do not practice many times before I tell the story.  I just see the picture and speak out the lines that comes to my brain.  It is true that "Practice makes perfect."  However, in this kind of situation, it is not so suitable for me.  When I get nervous, I will forget what I practiced before.  Another reason for me do not practice too much is because I can see the pictures.  Therefore, if I know the main idea of the story, then it would be too difficult to me except nervousness.  
     It's ok to not tell the story successfully, it would be a big trouble if I taught them the wrong vocabularies.  I had made two mistakes.  One is the pronunciation, the other is vocabulary.  I am so sad to teach them the wrong information.  As a result, if there are any words that I did not sure, just do not tell them and use another way to explain.  
     As a conclusion; basically, we all do a good job.  We should give ourselves a big hand.      

Maybe it is because that all of us have the experience to teach the elementary school students, or maybe because we are going to tell the story to the fourth grade of students (easy to cheat them).   We are not quite nervous, I think.   Actually, it is much terrible to tell the story to my classmates, because it is strange.   We need to put our pleasant facial expression and use much more cute tone to tell the story.   But, they are adult.   However, it is just difficult for me.   
       Ling~Ling~Ling, my alarm clock rings,  I have been a long time not getting up so early since I graduated from senior high school.   Nevertheless, i still got up, and rode my scooter to the elementary school.   I felt a little nervous but excited now, later, I am going to tell a story to the small devils.   Fortunately, the children at this class are so excellent.   They will not only give you response but also they will volunteer to answer questions.   They are smart.   They all follow our direct.   I had heard that the some of the children at the forth grade have some problems with each other after someone else told the story to them.   i think we are lucky enough do not need to deal with such tough things.   Maybe it could test your reaction to different kinds of situations.   However, I don't like to deal with them.   One thing that let me feel so happy is that, a week later, the students we taught last week will say hello to us.   And ask us to which story is going to tell this time.    They are really cute like angles.   I feel so comfortable to hear that.   I think we can change our activity just like our assistant Ivy played at the boys' class.   It is a good game, because everyone can get involve in it.  No one would be ignored.    I think children at that time all like to get the teachers attention to them.   Therefore, ask almost different child to answer particular questions.    
       Although being a good storyteller is difficult, it still had time to get the training.  But it is just a challenge to learn something.  We did really learned a lot of things.   It is really a good time to tell the story.

 
     Everyone has dreams, I am not except.  I have a lot of dreams.   I hope I can run a store on my own in the future with my best friend Emma, Julia, and Nidy.  I also hope I can marry to a guy who is gentle, humor and always share things to me in the future.   I hope I can be a magician who can amaze human beings.  It is quite interesting.  I hope ........................a lot of hopes for me to fullfill and achieve.  Yeah ～～it's life. 
    The book, Fanny's Dream is a story  which describes Fanny's dream.  Marry to a prince is Fanny's dream.  One day, she knows the castle is going to have a ball.  Fanny is so excited because she know she will just like the Cinderella.  At the night of that day, the godmother will show up and help her to go to the ball.   however,  it is a fairy tale; therefore, at that day, the godmother did not appear.    Instead, a man who is not Fanny's ideal mate show up.   His name is Heber who treat Fanny very well.   After they have a happy chatting, Heber asked Fanny to be his wife.   Minutes later,  Fanny said, "yes!!"   Then they lead a happy life.   One day, the godmother sunddenly appeared and tell Fanny she is going to send her to the ball in the town.   What a wonderful thing it is!!   Fanny can fullfill her dream.   Nevertheless, she refused to her.   She likes her family very much.   Her husband is so nice to her.   

It is really wonderful thing for a woman to marry to a nice guy.  Fanny's decision is right.   she did not like to clean the windows, so her Heber do it for himself.  The most important thing is that he will help Fanny to do the housework.   I am suprise that Fanny refused to go to the ball because it is her favorite dream.  She did really love Heber in the end.  She likes her husband and her children.   She is saticified with her life.   There is no need to change.   Maybe it would not be so good to marry to a prince although It is definitely that Fanny will have large fortune,  the true love is priceless.   The good memories to Heber are priceless, too.   I am so happy Fanny can have a good family.
